What information do we collect?

  • Personal information you disclose

    We collect personal information that you provide during the signup process. If you are joining our mailing list, this includes your email address. If you're creating an account, it will include more information, such as your name and business info. Payment and billing details are processed by a third party called Stripe, and we do not have access to this information. If there is any information that you do not want us to have, please do not submit it through any part of the signup process.

  • Automatically collected information

    Some information, such as IP address and browser and device characteristics, is collected automatically when you visit our websites.

    We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use or navigate the Sites. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information), but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Site and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Sites, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

For example, some third-party applications we use might put a publically-available profile photo next to your email address for us to form a more personal connection with you as the customer. We don't store this data on our own servers.

Our Site and software runs on servers located throughout the world, in order do deiver you the best experience. We use services operated by Cloudflare, inc. Here is a map of where their facilities are located.

When you access our Site, Cloudflare will determine where to serve it from based on your location and other factors. Please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed by us in our facilities and by those third parties with whom we may share your personal information (see “Disclosure of Your Information” above), in the United States, the United Kingdom, and other countries than your own.

If you are a resident in the European Economic Area, then these countries may not have data protection or other laws as comprehensive as those in your country. We will however take all necessary measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy and applicable law.

Such measures implementing the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal information between our group companies and between us and our third-party providers, which require all such recipients to protect personal information that they process from the EEA in accordance with European data protection laws. We have implemented similar appropriate safeguards with our third party service providers and partners and further details can be provided upon request.

How long do we keep your information?

We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless otherwise required by law.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). No purpose in this policy will require us keeping your personal information for longer than 30 days after you provide notice that you wish to have it removed from our systems.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

How do we keep your information safe?

We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures. This is in addition to the fact that we do not collect any information unless we have an immediate, legitimate need for it.

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we do process. However, please also remember that we cannot guarantee that the internet itself is 100% secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Sites is at your own risk. You should only access the services within a secure environment.

Do we collect information from minors?

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Sites, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Site [and App]. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. Do california residents have any specific privacy rights?

Yes, if you are a resident of California, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information.

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year.
